Striking hallways, because first impressions count, functional laundries and linen presses with an impressive amounts of storage space.

It was a tough week on The Block with three out of five couples failing to completely finish their rooms.

Ronnie and Georgia were beaten down this week, tired and things did not come together as they had expected. It seems like it’s a lot to do in six days and thank goodness we all have more time when undertaking our own DIY projects.

However, excitement for Sticks & Wombat as they had their first win on The Block and well deserved it was too!

Geelong wardrobe supplier, Cabinetmakers Choice add style to The Block.

With teams furiously trying to complete their outdoor kitchens on The Block this week, Geelong team Andy and Ben and their four competitor teams are closer than ever to auction.

Geelong business Cabinetmakers Choice has been along for the ride, designing and building storage solutions for Andy and Ben as well as Kim and Chris.

Cabinetmakers Choice owners Nigel Robinson and Chris Adamko worked hard to meet their teams’ specifications and help them to victory.

Cabinetmakers Choice invited to supply and install custom made cabinetry for The Block contestants.

It’s 11pm and the phone rings. Yet another change to the wardrobe design. Nigel Robinson takes it in his stride and prepares for the busy day ahead.

Being a tradesman on the TV series, The Block, is grueling and does test your patience as you battle for space with other tradesman swarming the building site. It’s nowhere near as challenging as the issues the contestants face, but nonetheless, it means working long hours and there’s definitely no room for error.

Geelong business, Cabinetmakers Choice was approached to design, manufacture and install the wardrobes for The Block 2016 contestants.
